Aurora

There was a major solar storm and we got to see the Northern Lights right from our house!

Just after sundown it kind of looked foggy or hazy to the north, but in the iPhone camera sensor with a long exposure, you could tell something was really happening.

As it got darker it became clearer even to the eye that this was not just haze.

Eventually some cool colors and striations appeared.
