Covers are a good idea if you store your bike outside.Even if you store it in a garage, you should think about putting a cover on if you "put it up" for the winter -- keeping dust off the bike for a few months is good for it. Shelters are nearly a must-have for racers. Shelters keep you, your tools, your protective gear, and your bike out of the sun and rain. |

Inside Line partner Brian has an E-Z UP Dome II shelter for days at the track. It works well and we recommend it. Note that for "real" rain (not showers) it's a good idea to apply seam-sealer to the canopy. Otherwise you'll get a line of drips.
